Sienna Miller holding up an action figure depicting her GI JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA character, The Baroness.

Sadly the action figure does NOT look a thing like her or her movie character. It was really really poorly done.

Chris Hemsworth (THOR) perusing MARVEL comic books at the THOR merchandise display.

By the way, I did pick up the THOR / CAPTAIN AMERICA special issue during FREE COMIC BOOK DAY recently. Did you ?

As an aside, there’s a really funny couple of pages during the initial DC VERTIGO SANDMAN run, written by Neil Gaiman, depicting THOR as a muscle-bound meat head. It’s awesome, with that ole sly "if you rub my hammer, it’ll get bigger" joke slipped in.

Do try to find that issue if you can.

Ian McShane with the larger-than-life LEGO model of Captain Jack Sparrow during Toy Fair 2011.

McShane plays Blackbeard, the newest villain in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Look in his hand! He’s holding his custom BLACKBEARD action figure! It’s got some pretty sweet details on it too.

The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides opens this week!
