As evident in our previous entry, THE HOBBIT cast received copies of their LEGO mini figures along with play sets of scenes from the upcoming Peter Jackson movie.

I am still pleasantly stunned they made LEGO mini figs of all the dwarves!

I have seen the Hobbit hole play set already as well (out in stores now). It’s MINE! MINE! My precious!

I have been looking for that last Animated GIF for the longest time!! Namely, the one of Wil Wheaton holding / playing / grappling with an action figure of himself.

Thank you, Internet!

Ah, these two! They pose with their action figures in character & that’s why I love’em so much!

Matt Smith & Karen Gillan with their Doctor Who Action figures

Matt Smith (Eleventh Doctor) and Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) pose with their action figures to promote the release of their 12 inch action figures.

Big Chief Studios out of the UK announced earlier this year the release of these 1:6 scale toys of the Eleventh Doctor & Amy Pond characters from the DOCTOR WHO television series.

They come PACKED with great accessories & many points of articulation.

There are also limited edition “signature” versions of these two models, signed by the actors who play them.

You can find out more about them here at the Big Chief Studios store.

Note: I am not responsible for the wailing & crying that comes out of the credit cards in your wallet, should you choose to click the above mentioned links.

Here’s a relatively older pic:  Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who plays the character “Heavy Duty” in the movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra”, holds a 12-inch G.I. Joe action figure in his likeness as he signs autographs at Hasbro’s booth at the San Diego Comic-Con circa July 24, 2009.
And looking darn happy about it too.

Unfortunately, GI JOE: RETALIATION has been delayed. It won’t see a North American release until March 2013.
