Transformers: Age of Extinction teaser.
Out in North American theatres June 24, 2014.
danceswithwookies asked: Soooo actorswithactionfigures has just become every other random ass blog on Tumblr? Beyond disappointing to see such a great blog writing about random shit like a Transformers 4 poster. What happened??????
Because I generally like Transformers as a franchise (action figures!), and this is the latest thing slated to be released for the brand, this movie announcement and poster.
Could be worse; I’ve been sitting on a couple rant posts about the acting profession that is sure to irk more than a few readers.
I try hard to be positive, so I will take your “AWAF is a great blog” and raise you a “chillax dude” and thank you and bid ye a good night.

Counting down to the start of this year’s SAN DIEGO COMIC CON! #SDCC2013
I’ve been working on my breathing exercises this week to combat the inevitable claustrophobia that ensues during exhibitor floor crunches :P
We haven’t visited San Diego and #SDCC since 2010 and it’ll be GREAT to be back :)
We’ve organized a Tumblr Meetup on Saturday July 20 at 11a @ the great big stair case (see screenshot below). Look for the girl in the MY LITTLE PONY FLUTTERSHY cosplay (that’s me!). Won’t be able to miss the bubblegum pink wig & yellow horsey ears and wings.
I will have buttons, stickers & swag! Come by say hi and we’ll get some group shots & magnificent selfies! [x]
And now, a whole bunch of LISTS below the link! Because we’ve been bookmarking & saving all the posts and it’s our “really want to do all these things if we were clones”:
Seasons greetings from The TRANSFORMERS comic book.
#Wait What Did Optimus Prime Use To Attach The Beard He Has Neither Skin Nor Ears O_O
#Glue wouldn’t work it’d ruin his pretty chrome finish!
#AutoReindeer, Roll Out!
I imagined all this told to the children in Peter Cullen’s voice. For bonus marks!
I’m a substitute teacher and a Transformers fan. Today I substituted for a kindergarten class. The instructions said to read ‘Wheels on the Bus,’ but the kids wailed angrily because they’d read it yesterday. So instead I told them the story of the War for Cybertron, based on Transformers Exodus.
“Once upon a time, on the planet Cybertron, there lived a librarian…”
I’ve had to resort to this story before, and they always get a kick out of it when I tell them Optimus Prime worked in a library. I also tell them Megatron was a wrestler, since I can’t tell them he was a gladiator. But whenever I tell the story, the biggest surprise to them is that Optimus and Megatron used to be friends.
Moving on, something astounded me when I got to the part where Optimus and Megatron approached the ‘Cybertron government’ about the fact that they wanted to choose their own jobs. A little girl raised her hand and asked, “What’s the government?”
I was like, “Whoa, pause story time. The government?”
“Yeah! What is it?” she asked.
“Well… it’s the people who make the rules for a country.”
“Rules that keep us safe?”
“Yes, like keeping everyone driving on the same side of the road.”
“And no hitting?”
“Yes. That’s not allowed.”
“So what did Optimus do next?” a boy asked.
“And what was Bumblebee’s job?” asked another.
The story of the war continued, and we had the best Story Time ever.
